Artisanal Italian Bakery and Pastry in Haarlem
The name Sbrisolona comes from a typical cake from Northern Italy, originally from Lombardy. It is a very crumbly, rustic cake made with simple ingredients. The word comes from the dialect “sbrìsa,” meaning “crumb.” I chose this name because I come from Northern Italy, and it reflects the traditions I grew up with.
I supply fresh handmade pastries to cafés and restaurants in Haarlem, and also create birthday cakes, small catering, and tea lunches for special occasions.
At La Sbrisolona, everything is made with care, simplicity, and a love for Italian flavours.
